Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 70 billion through two issues on Thursday, 18 January 2024.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 35 billion and will mature in 182 days on 23 July this year, according to official data.
With the same amount, the second offering holds a 364-day tenor until 21 January 2025.
On 14 December, the central bank announced T-bills worth EGP 60 billion through two tranches.
